Cerulean Gallatin 721

Gallatin was named after the Hamilton Class 378-foot High Endurance Cutter of the US Coast Guard, Gallatin 721. This cutter sliced through Tidal Wave sized rogue waves during its commission at sea. Gallatin was born small, but has made remarkable progress! His veterinarians expect him to grow to normal size. We are guessing he will mature to 14.0-14.2 hands. He would make an excellent ranch horse/pony or 4H project or for someone who wants a smaller sized mount.

Gallatin is extremely well-bred. His dam, Dawn of the Kings is line-bred King/Hollywood at Dawn, two of the most coveted lines in Foundation Quarter Horse Breeding. Gallatin's sire is our NFQHA treasure, Jaz Poco Zorro, 100% NFQHA.* Zorro's pedigree is highly regarded some of the best of Poco Bueno, King, Beaver Creek and the great NFQHA producer, Little Steel Dust. Most importantly, Zorro is out of arguably the greatest Foundation broodmare of all time, Bains Showdown Dun.

All Cerulean foals receive vitamin/minerals, grain, any required supplements, are on a routine deworming/vaccination/farrier schedule. Selling as a gelding. Priced at $5,000.

*The National Foundation Quarter Horse is the unaltered original Quarter Horse that settled the American West. The American Bulldog Quarter Horse worked rigorous endless days on rugged terrain sprinting to sort and pen cattle, rope, herd and pack. The breed is prized for fierce bravery, cow-sense, intelligence, hardiness, superior athleticism and unequalled calm temperament. The NRHA, ARHA and NCHA have modeled modern AQHA-recognized ranch horse show classes after daily ranch life of the American Bulldog Quarter Horse.

Cerulean Farm's NFQHA bulldog stallion solidifies Bulldog type, ample bone, strong, roomy hooves, world-class bloodlines and a 10+ temperament. His exceptionally balanced conformation, deep haunches, well-angled shoulder and hind limbs produce dressage-like movement, elasticity and superior athleticism/versatility. He competed successfully in team penning and team sorting.
