Jaz SD Charra, 95% NFQHA

Beginner Safe! Charra has proven herself to be the ideal beginner or husband safe horse. No lunging, just saddle and go. Charra is quiet, calm, willing and generously patient. Her desire to please makes her the perfect horse for someone without much experience who wants to learn to train or refine her cues. A true steddy-eddie on trails. In only 4 rides after being a broodmare for the last 6 years, she hasn't missed a beat. Charra has the basics down, walk, trot, canter both leads, halt and back.  Much progress is being made with each ride. Charra will continue in training until sold. Price will increase as training progresses. Good for the farrier, no vices, loads, great with all other horses and adaptable in new environments. Not marish. Great ranching/trail prospect. We have retained several of Charra's foals as our personal mounts.

The Whole Enchilada. Charra impressed everyone at her first penning and sorting show. She won 3rd place out of 11 with only 20 rides under her belt. She then packed a fearful total beginner around the busy show grounds!  Since then, she has had an additional 60 days of under saddle training. She has lots of trail miles, been through streams and lakes. Charra set the mark with light-speed trainability and nothing-phases-her approach to life. Everything is a new adventure to be absorbed like a sponge. Charra is a big-bodied, well-muscled mare, especially flexible and effortlessly agile. Her super sweet temperament is icing on the cake.

Loud Dun Factor. Charra is dusted in light silvery grulla, crowned by unusual, almost white highlights atop a black mane and tail. Primitive markings turn heads and add to her charm.  Charra has been a quality broodmare for the past 5 years. She produces unequalled balanced foals, top cow and ranch horses as well as sport horses perfectly suited for dressage, reining and various sports, equally capable of producing winners in IBHA shows.  We believe she would pick right up where she left off and be a stellar cow or competition horse. $12,500 (Temporary price reduction! $15,500)

*The National Foundation Quarter Horse is the unaltered original Quarter Horse that settled the American West. The American Bulldog Quarter Horse worked rigorous endless days on rugged terrain sprinting to sort and pen cattle, rope, herd and pack. The breed is prized for fierce bravery, cow-sense, intelligence, hardiness, superior athleticism and unequalled calm temperament. The NRHA, ARHA and NCHA have modeled modern AQHA-recognized ranch horse show classes after daily ranch life of the American Bulldog Quarter Horse.
